Homalomena (Combo Pack of 2 plants)

Homalomena is a tropical plant genus in the Araceae family, with around 120 species of herbaceous perennials. They have attractive glossy leaves in various shades.

It is a cute, compact indoor plant with lovely glossy green leaves. This wonderful houseplant has a thing for elegance or at least looking naturally beautiful. The simple heart-shaped leaves are glossy and clean, creating a mound of glimmering foliage. These plants also increase the attractiveness of the area.

Homalomena plants are valued for their ornamental value and are grown as houseplants or in greenhouses. They are relatively easy to care for and thrive in warm, humid environments with moderate to low light. Some species are used in traditional medicine to treat a range of ailments, such as respiratory infections and digestive disorders.

Homalomena Dark Triangle 'Black' :

 Homalomena Rubescens Plant :

  1. Light: Homalomena plants prefer bright, indirect light. They can tolerate lower light levels, but too much direct sunlight can scorch their leaves.
  2. Watering: Water Homalomena plants when the top inch of soil is dry. They prefer to be kept moist, but not soggy. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
  3. Humidity: Homalomena plants prefer high humidity. Mist the leaves regularly, or place the plant on a tray of pebbles filled with water to increase humidity.
  4. Soil: Homalomena plants prefer well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. A mixture of potting soil, peat moss, and perlite works well.
  5. Fertilizer: Feed Homalomena plants every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
  6. Pruning: Homalomena plants don't require much pruning. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves as needed to keep the plant looking tidy.

Note: Plant may slightly differ from shown image depending on Season and growth pattern
