Alocasia Baginda - Plants

The Silver Dragon, also known as the Alocasia Baginda, is a stunning tropical plant that is known for its large, glossy leaves that are shaped like elephant ears. The leaves are green on top and silver on the underside, giving the plant its unique name. The Alocasia Baginda can grow up to 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide, making it a great statement plant for any room.

One of the best things about the Silver Dragon is that it is relatively easy to care for. It prefers to be in well-draining soil and likes to be kept consistently moist. It also prefers to be in a location that has bright, indirect light. The Silver Dragon is also known to be a slow grower, so it may take some time for it to reach its full size.

Another interesting feature of the Alocasia Baginda is that it is known to be an air-purifying plant. This means that it can help to remove toxins and pollutants from the air, making it a great addition to any home. Overall, the Silver Dragon is a beautiful and unique plant that is sure to add a touch of tropical elegance to any room

  • Lighting: Place your Alocasia Baginda plant in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves.
  • Temperature and Humidity: Keep the plant in a warm environment with temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C to 29°C).
  • Watering: Water your Alocasia Baginda plant when the top inch of soil feels dry. Ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent waterlogging, as overly wet conditions can lead to root rot.
  • Soil and Fertilizer: Use well-draining soil mixed with peat moss or perlite to provide good aeration.
  • Pruning: Trim off any yellow or brown leaves to maintain the plant's appearance and overall health. Remove any dead or damaged foliage promptly.

The package was delivered in great shape
however the plant has 2 yellow leaves. Also the pot is literally covered with soil to the rim of the pot making is impossible to water the plant without spilling
